Pacemaker Donations

Some loved ones who passed away may have had implanted devices such as a pacemaker. Implanted devices like a pacemaker can create possible problems during the cremation process.  The removal of the pacemaker requires our specially trained staff members to remove it prior to cremation.

California Funeral Alternatives is always looking for ways help families honor their loved one.  One way we can help is to offer the donation of your loved ones pacemaker to two different organizations.  Through research and careful thought, we have chosen two organizations to team up with to reuse these pacemakers.

The two organizations we work with are:     

UC Davis Veterinary Medical Hospital in San Diego and University of Michigan's - Project My Heart Your Heart
