Susan Faye Sullivan, age 82, born May 19, 1939 went to be in the arms of Jesus on March 20, 2021 in her home surrounded and cared for by her family.
She was born to parents Vincent and Edna Orantes in Escondido California. She had two sisters Karen Brag and Kathy Brown.
Her love story is being married her Escondido High School sweet heart Daniel Sullivan at 17. He swept her off her feet and they danced the night away, I’ve been told. Sue became the Patriarch of her family, she had three daughters Julie Rogers, Jody Bulman and Marcy Knight. She is also survived by seven grandchildren Vivian, Leonardo, Daniel, Isabella, Jake, Evangelina and Justin.
Susan had true grit, brought love, beauty and positivity to all she came in contact with. She taught us all how to persevere and to laugh. To know Susan was to know what love really was. I will never forget her words “Don’t go Backwards”
She was a writer, loved to garden, play piano/harp by ear and cook big meals. She worked at Palomar Hospital in the OB ward with the babies. She was the Owner of Sullivan’s Stables and a caregiver at Silverado and for her immediate family.
Celebration of Life will be held at the home on Easter with close family and friends.
