Norma Socorro Soto

Norma Socorro Soto passed away on April 22, 2020, at the age of 87.  She resided for many years at California Board and Care, 3737 31st Street in San Diego.  She appreciated the love and care of the staff.  She was born in Moctezuma, Sonora, Mexico on the first day of 1933, moved with her family to Tijuana around 1950, and then to San Diego where she became a naturalized citizen.  Norma never married and she leaves behind her nieces Maria Soto Papet, Martha Soto Millican and nephew Miguel Angel Soto as well as five great-nieces Marilyn, Marissa, Clarissa, Miriam and Vanessa.  She was predeceased by her brothers and sister Carlos, Hugo, Maria Dolores, and Humberto.  She was active in the San Miguel Catholic Church in the La Mesa community of Tijuana.  Her final resting place will be with several other family members at Monte De Los Olivos Cemetery in Tijuana, B.C. Mexico.
