Mary Lee Lowden was born 12/07/1931 in Morocco, Indiana to Cecil Willard Skinner and Juanita Swanson Skinner. She graduated from Tucson Senior High School in Tucson Arizona in 1950. She then moved to Escondido with her parents. She obtained her associate degree from Palomar Junior College in 1952 in Chemistry and Mathematics and then graduated from San Diego State University in 1960 with a bachelor's degree in mathematics. In her professional life she worked with Golf General Atomic for 11 years in mathematical, scientific and graphics programming using FORTRAN COBAL and assembly languages. It is also where she met her husband, Frank. She held various positions in professional organizations. She married Frank Lowden the love of her life on 09/29/1973. She remarked that her crowning achievement was being married to him. They were active in their local church. She had a variety of hobbies including sewing her own clothes and embordering them, quilting, knitting, ham radio operating, piano playing, canning, cooking, wine making and shooting. Both she and Frank were avid firearm devotees with an extensive collection of handguns and rifles. They both competed in events over the years. They were lifetime members of the NRA and the Escondido Fishing Game Club. She loved cats and fed the neighborhood cats. She was a proud member of the NRA. Mary Lee went to see her savior Jesus and rejoin her husband Frank on April 13, 2024
