Beverly Jean Shipe

Beverly Jean Caspersen Shipe passed away peacefully September 9, 2020.  She was born in Illinois on April 26th, 1927, but lived her adult life in Escondido.    Besides her love of God and family, she had a great love for fishing and traveling!   She was employed by Sears as a Personnel Manager for 30+ years.   We will miss her cheerful smile and loving friendship.  

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Carl Caspersen and John Shipe, as well as her siblings, Gail, Robert and Doral.

She is survived by her children and their families – Curt and Jean Caspersen, Escondido, Kevin and Larissa Caspersen, Zachary, Hannah and Maggie,  and Jill and Linn Roose, Lucas, Levi and Rianna;  Gary and Jo Ann Caspersen, Poway, Carl and Yael Caspersen and Christine and Eric Butler, Tyler, Trent and Dylan;  Carol and Jim (deceased) McNerney, Arizona, Kati and BJ Ho, Natalie, Olivia and Benjamin, and Amy and Kurt von Seggern, Kaylee and Isaak.

In lieu of flowers, her wish was a donation to the Missions Department of Emmanuel Faith Church, 639 East 17th Avenue, Escondido, CA  92025.
